Saying that new generation of youth have choice to decide their future, the newly appointed chairman of Tehreeq-e-Hurriyat Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai in an conversation with KNB said that he and his militant son are addressing the Kashmir issue on different fronts.

Ashraf Sehrai the successor of senior separatist leader Syed Ali Geelani in an conversation with KNB, Editor Malik Sameed at former’s residence said that new generation of youth have choice to decide their own future to address the issues pertaining to them. Commenting over the joining of militant outfit by his son Junaid, the octogenarian leader said one who chooses the ‘armed struggle’ will undoubtedly has to face the bullets anytime, adding, I’m addressing the Kashmir problem on political grounds.

Pertinent to mention here, last week the joining of militant ranks by the 26-year-old Junaid Ashraf Khan, the son of newly appointed Tehreek-e-Hurriyat (TeH) chief Ashraf Sehrai has send shock waves within the Hurriyat camp. Sehrai maintaining that the practice of appointing interlocutor Dineshwar Sharma as a ‘futile exercise’ said until the Government of India not address the root cause there will be no result to such activities. He said the packages or iron fist were not solution to the Kashmir problem but concrete and honest steps to end the uncertainty in the region by initiating a process to address the long standing Kashmir issue.
